Policysense / The Suite

Policysense Kernel

It provides common services for the entire suite. The kernel is included in all Policysense subscriptions.

What does the Policysense kernel include?

Product configurator

The product configurator is an essential tool to customize and adapt the insurance products managed by Policysense to your needs. Its efficient design allows for rapid configuration of new products, reducing the time it takes to bring these products to market. This setting affects the behavior of the entire Policysense suite, allowing for a personalized experience tailored to your needs.

Workflows

Configure and orchestrate your business processes with steps delegated to humans – these steps are translated into tasks for users and groups of users.

Approvals

Approvals required for various system actions can be configured. These approvals can involve more than one person, and can be configured based on various criteria.

Rating motor

Engine for calculating premiums, insured amounts, surcharges, and discounts. It allows the use of rate tables, formulas made in low-code, or consumption of APIs for calculations. In the same way, you can calculate these separate amounts in installments or at different frequencies, and segmented by coverage. If desired, these calculations can be exposed through our API layer.

Underwriting

Designed to allow you to select and categorize risks with high precision and in the most efficient way possible. Its functionality includes a workbench for subscribers, automated subscription through rules, request management, and rules-based integrations. In the same way, the tool allows the manual modification of underwriting cases and orchestrates the entire risk approval process.

Secure Message Center

Secure communication with all your users. Allows you to define multiple service accounts for customer service, intermediaries, and external parties. Send mass messages for notices and news to a whole group of users. Allows some types of users to send individual messages to other users. Certain business processes can generate automated messages based on templates.

Teamwork

In addition to the secure messaging center, Policysense includes video chat capabilities (including for prospect use), Slack and Teams integrations, course and news management for different types of users, and user profiles. One of the main purposes of these tools is to improve teamwork.

User Management

It allows you to define granular user permissions based on the structure of the business units and the positions of your company. Manage your users easily and safely. Includes single sign-on capabilities for integrations with other systems.
